You know, I love how Burt says that he "writes slowly." I learned, from that site, that In the 1960's, he published 295 songs alone. In a decade there are 520 weeks. This meant that, during that period, he published, on average, 1.76 songs per WEEK. Those are songs that he published. God knows how many songs he wrote, or parts of songs he wrote, that he did NOT publish? To get one song that you like that's good enough to publish, you have to write many others. So, if Burt PUBLISHED over one song a week for 10 years, I do find it funny when Burt says that he "writes slowly." Thank god that Burt wrote such phenomenal music so FAST! God Bless Burt Bacharach's productivity!
