This is another great BB/HD tune. I think it has been posted here before, but for those who may not have heard it, nor not heard it by this artist, it's worth a listen.

The artist is Jim O'Rourke, an Irish-American guy out of Chicago who has actually won awards for music production. He's also released a few albums under his own name, and this cut is from his 1999 album, Eureka. The cut is "Something Big."

Nearly identical to Burt`s `73 recording. I`ve drawn an agonising blank, `though, on who recorded this before Burt. Anyone?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this was the first version...composed for the film
"Something Big"....starring Dean Martin.

Exactly! Thanks for relieving my "senior moment", Blue. I have so much of this stuff stashed on various discs, I don`t even know where or how to find certain things any more. I actually like much of this version as much as, if not more than, Burt`s. Great little (oxymoron?) song in any case.
