Just back from Dionne Warwick concert in Detroit.
Dionne was looking trim and sounding good.
Class show all the way. Talked about Detroit that it is special for her, becuase this is the city that a DJ heard her first single and was the frist
to play it in the country.
If you have seen her in concert the past 4 or 5 years she hasn't changed a thing.
Same song line up and show lasts
about 90 minutes. She did bring up the topic of her
2 cd set of 40 duets that will be coming out. But no
date was mentioned. Seems like she has been working on this
for awhile now. Any insight when this could be released?

"we do hope you are prepared for what Dionne has prepared - and if any of the songs we're gonna be doing for you become familiar to your ear - we want you to feel free to just open up your mouths and let the words fall right on out of it" (Intro used for the past 30+ years) AND as a reward for your loyalty through the years there will be "NO ENCORE" - even though you've been wanting one for the past 40 years.
