A question

I recently bought the What The World Needs Now - Burt Bacharach Classics CD, and was worried about the fact that the piano intro on This Guy's In Love With You is missing. Is it a shorter single version? I'm curious.

Are you reffering to that Floyd Cramer styled noodling he does on at the beginnig
on the MAke It Easy On Yourself Album, before he goes into the the da daaaa da daaaa?

nOt sure, but it's something a company would do...considering it non-essential,
they could possibly cut that "cheeze" off the beginning...but as an old friend of mine
"B"film composer Al Glasser used to say..."Thats cheating!"

yeah, probably it was cut to put more music on the disc. i don't know.

A good guess.... another possibility is that some self righteous critics out there didn't like this strange intro,thot it was b.s., and decided to "cut it"....pesonally, I believe every note should have been left in...
