History--
my mother passed away in 1990 and left me with albums, 8-track tapes and memories of her listening to Mr. B. We saw him together in Tampa in 1970(maybe) at the Curtis Hixon Hall(?). Opening act was called "Orange Colored Sky". Good group, very 70's(sweet Caroline). My mother told me that Mr. B. had a daughter with Mrs. D. that was "learning challenged". I thought that this young lady was the subject of the beautiful song "Nikki" & that was her name. Am I wrong? What ever became of his children and hopefully they are healthy and happy adults? FYI--his concert was incredibly passionate and inspiring even to a ten year old boy as he sang and played the piano but even more led the orchestra with such emphasis. Wish I had a videotape of it but I don't think it would do it justice. You had to be there. The orchestra was tight and in synch!
