Isn't She Great

In a mad moment I ordered the soundtrack CD of Isn't She Great (import, all the way from the USA).

Not sure what to make of it - for example, The Look of Love part 2 (ie. Sexual Me, Sexual You).

Did anyone ever see the film - what was it all about?

No one saw it. It was even available on Hulu (and may still be) and I passed it up.
Ostensibly, it was the Jacqueline Susanne Story. I liked the irony of Burt scoring this movie if only because Dionne sang on the soundtrack of the film version of JS`s Love Machine but with which Burt had nothing to do.
Anyway, I love the soundtrack to this dog. It followed on the heels of Painted from Memory and showed all the old signs of inventiveness that that project brought out. Even more, I loved the sly, self-referential musical allusions and inversions.Too bad you had to pay an arm and a leg for it, but I hope you`ll come to hear that it was worth it.
Parenthetically, I think all of the movies Burt scored sucked with the obvious exception of Butch Cassidy....

I couldn’t disagree with you more, Blair, as I find the ‘Isn’t she Great’ soundtrack lacklustre and uninspiring, while both ‘What’s New Pussycat’ and ‘Casino Royale’ contain what I consider to be some of BB’s most melodic and inventive music.
