Dear Mr. Bacharach,

You are not giving yourself enough credit for the contribution you have made to dozens of movies and plays, and to the successful lives of their actors and actresses. When "theater" songs are being played in a concert venue, how about introducing them by clips of video from the movie or play onto a screen above the orchestra? Like a Grammy ceremony, you would acquaint a possibly young and ignorant, or, forgetful audience with the large success the song was a part of, perhaps a large part of, and give people a glimpse of the home and birthplace of the song, songs like, "The April Fools", "Wives & Lovers", "Promises, Promises", "Casino Royale"-"theme" W/trumpet!, "Alfie", "A House IS Not A Home", "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid"-Loved "Where there's a Heartbreak,There's Always A Heart", heard the LYRIC sung by Pat Boone! It wasn't only an instrumental!, "Nikki"/ABC Movie Of The Week, "The Blob" (near Halloween), "After The Fox"-pair with "Casino Royale", and I know there are many more...!

We love loving your beautiful love for beautiful lyrics and melodies, movie star.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Bob Craig
