Since many of us - although by no measure all - share an affection for the music of Jimmy Webb, and since many of us have been making the same points over and over for quite a while, why not start cross-pollinating by joining the discussions at jimmywebb.com? I`ve made the same suggestion over there, so I hope there will be some interesting discussions while we`re all waiting for new music.

Billy Joel has toured with Elton John. What about Burt touring with Jimmy Webb? I'd love to hear Burt do a live version of his "Woman" album, while Jimmy does his "Land's End" album.

Despite the fact that I never again want to hear Billy Joel or Elton John, a Bacharach/Webb tour is a fascinating idea.
And, Jack, thanks for being the first to take up this "cross-pollination" idea!
