Remember Nikki Jean ? (No, I still don`t know her)
What did this woman do to be so ignored?
Here`s her new EP via Soundcloud: http://www.nikkijeanmusic.com/

I hate disco, but just because it`s Nikki I`m enjoying this:
Also this - - which I ignored for three years and now count among his best albums (which don`t include the lame State which functioned best as soundtrack to the admittedly impressive live light show). He just seems engaged here and made all these non-Rundgren songs his own.

Blue,
Todd Rundgren`s new album was delivered to his management yesterday and is scheduled for release the first week of April.
I know nothing more about it.

I liked this even better because it seemed only just that, having shamelessly ripped off Todd`s style, Hall at least had the sense to invite the guy to sing this song. (I`ll go to my grave believing Todd wrote it, copyright be damned).

Only Todd could have wrote that.
Quite wonderful !

With everything seeming so sepulchral here, I feel free to finish my last point to blue. You seem not to have heard this song before, while it was a hit in the states.
Listen to the original studio version and tell me how minimally buzzed (on anything) you`d have to be to be certain that it`s an out-take from Something/Anything.

A friend of mine was "seeing' Bebe Buell when this was released and told me that she had contacted Todd and told him to "call these guys and tell them to cut it out!"
History does not record his response.

Blair, this is the first time I've heard the "actual" Hall and Oates song.
If it was to have been played on the radio without the artist's name being mentioned. I would have easily have misled into thinking that it was Todd performing it.
It wouldn't have taken much "buzzing" to make me think it was a "Something / Anything "out-take"

I don't know weather to call it a Todd "pastiche" or a Todd "rip-off" ?
Great song though.

Hey, Blue, I just ran across this (80s?) recording of Todd doing a gorgeous rendition of the Tubes` unreleased song, "Come As You Are":
