Its so simple but the vocal harmonies,are so ethereal I cant stand it. There are two versions.

This one is more bacharachish.



Dionnes version sounds like a 50s mr sandman arrangement with 70s production. Man those harmonies could warm the.hearts in heaven.

Disagree strongly. I find that song to b average on the.bacharach spectrum and the verses are slightly meandering.jackie deshannon has better songs thwn that like windows and.doors Idont need you anymore and of course.wtwnn.


The bequtiful parts of thats not the answer hit right out the gate qnd.r not confined.to specific parts. that beautiful walk on by theme is alsp present in numerous parts,of the song. I guess its subjective buy I does something for me.

Blair I tend gravitate to dramatic songs that crescendo to sweping strings and ethereal harmonies. This would be a perfext example.

Then you have those songs thqt are beautiful from the.very first note and.never relinquish that haunting hold. Like these.
