The Burt Bacharach Discussion Forum

Every morning while I'm going to the office I always listen the same music in the car, one CD of the compilation 'The Look of Love' the last one that is referring to the 70s and 80s years. And I think to myself this
question: the music of Mr.Bacharach is still listened and played in the whole world after more than 40 years, does anyone know why? Please don't consider my question so stupid. Thanks for reply.

No wonder,the music from Burt ( and the lyrics from his collaborators ) are timeless.
Today in the Netherlands they are using several Burt Bacharach songs
for commercials!
Raindrops keep fallin1 on my head,What the world needs now and I say a little prayer.
Isn`t that great?
Such songs and music as he wrote are definate evergreens.
Thank you Burt for the wonderful songs that you gave to us!

By the way i don`t care what youre political way is.
Everyone is entitled to say what he/she wants to say.
Celebrity or not.
It is true, that today we live in a very dangerous world.
