a rare BB's song (mp3 file) to share

Last weekend (at last!) i started to convert some of my 30 years old
(and older) casette tapes' songs
into mp3.

Bobby Vinton's album in mid 70s
had one of my most fav. BB song
called Charlie (in fact it's
my fav. male sung BB song)

It's not known at all but like
many BB's rarity, they are just
great.

The melody is somewhat in the same
style as Arthur's Theme (but is
much more prettier and subtler)

I want to share its mp3 with
those who like to have a listen.

Email me at
wong_pui_ming@yahoo.com

and i'll tell you how to get it.

No, "Charlie" was used by Burt in referring to Dionne. The initial phone call made to Dionne by Burt regarding their reunion studio recording of "Finders Of Lost Love" started out with Burt asking "Hello, Charlie?" and Dionne knew it was him. By the way, Aaron Spelling was the one who was responsible for said reunion.

Thanks very much; these are both beautiful songs! Who does the vocal on the Webb track? It almost, but not quite, sounds like Glen Campbell.

Yes, i've placed a rare Jimmy Webb
beauty in the same site.
This is Sarah Song was the B side
of Glen Campbell's single
"Sunflower" around 1977.

It had that subtle haunting magic
that its beauty started to grow
on me the more i listened to it.

I'm a little confused. I heard Burt tell the story and he said that Aaron Spelling had suggested that Dionne sing the song and Burt decided to bury the hatchet. (For those who don't know, Burt and Dionne didn't speak for many years.) So Burt phoned Dionne and said "Hi Dionne, this is Burt." And then Dionne replied, "Burt who?"

Did anyone else hear Burt tell this story.
