Vinyl

I see that Burt's new (album?/CD? -- you don't know what to say anymore!) is coming out in vinyl.

Is vinyl making a comeback??? And this is after it appeared that record players became obsolete and the whole world switched over to CD format? Is this some kind of joke on us all?

Having said this, I have to say that I've long believed that music sounded actually better coming off of a record than as produced digitally in a CD.

Is this why vinyl is coming back, because the "professionals" believe that this is the case?

Or is vinyl making a comeback so that we all go out and buy record players again?

I don't know if it is making a comeback, but it does sound a lot better to me too. It is a fuller sound, so to speak. (Something to do with the bass, I guess.)

its never gone away. It's not mass market certainly - Just used for special editions of albums or for DJs and their club mixes.
