Just thought all Bacharach fans in the UK might like to know, there is a new production of his classic 60's musical Promises Promises at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield. It's gonna be great, especially with 60's gangster style being so cool at the moment - not that it's just "in vogue", the songs are timeless. And all of us young people are gonna be dolled up in 60's outfits, if that helps tempt you! :) It's on from start of December. Come!

Hi,

Can any UK folks on this forum give some advice as to how one can get to Sheffield from London & approximate time/cost/etc. etc.? I'll be visiting London this winter & would love to get the chance to see what sounds like a wonderful production of PROMISES, PROMISES!

Thanks!
