Just thought all Bacharach fans in the UK might like to know, there is a new production of his classic 60's musical Promises Promises at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield. It's gonna be great, especially with 60's gangster style being so cool at the moment - not that it's just "in vogue", the songs are timeless. And all of us young people are gonna be dolled up in 60's outfits, if that helps tempt you!

It's on from start of December. Come!

Hi,
Can any UK folks on this forum give some advice as to how one can get to Sheffield from London & approximate time/cost/etc. etc.? I'll be visiting London this winter & would love to get the chance to see what sounds like a wonderful production of PROMISES, PROMISES!
Thanks!
