Tonight's PBS' "Salute to Music Legends" opened with the great Johnny Mathis singing one of my all time favorite Bacharach/David compositions "Walk On By" then Dionne was introduced and she performed her latest single "What The World Needs Now Is Love". Dionne's voice was in fine form—elegant, majestic, and compelling as ever!
Her sons David and Damion presented her with the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement Award, an award she is so deserving of. Looking forward to her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, an award she is WAY overdue!!

Dionne is not only a singer, her personality, achievement and humanitarian approach to the world is also praiseworthy. She long deserved this award and thanks to he organizer to give her the proper respect what she deserves.
