From Nick, The Night Fly, of Montecarlo Radio
http://www.radiomontecarlo.net/RMC_04/r ... =bacharach#

The link was posted here before. (Great interview, by the way.) I just want to ask what this, which is written in bold, means:

Bacharach costituisce una vera e propria riscoperta che dimostra, ancora una volta, come i classici in realtà non muoiono mai.

Is it something like "The rather appropriate rediscovery of Burt Bacharach means that what's classic never dies"?

Well, I think you have it just about right. I'm no expert, but my limited Italian would render the sentence this way: Bacharach constitutes a genuine and appropriate rediscovery which shows, once again, that, truly, the classics never die. Steve
