Local couple stars in romantic comedy
Walpole married couple Aimee Doherty and Jeff Mahoney play the leads in the Animus Ensemble’s production of the Burt Bacharach/Neil Simon holiday love story, "Promises, Promises," from Dec. 9 to 18, at the Calderwood Pavilion (Roberts Studio Theatre) at the Boston Center for the Arts, 527 Tremont St., in Boston’s South End..
The Burt Bacharach/Neil Simon romantic comedy is directed by John Ambrosino with choreography by Josie Bray and music direction by Brian Wagner.
Performance dates and times are as follows: Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 11, and Saturday, Dec. 17, at 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m.
