Jack Jones Sings Michel Legrand is an LP that's been played a lot in our household and I've never heard him sound better. The way he sings the line "I will love no more" at the end of his rendition of 'I Will Say Goodbye' gets me every time.

I think that the only rival Jack Jones had when it came to the smoothness of his vocal delivery was Vic Damone. By the time he had the hit with 'Wives And Lovers' he'd already recorded three Bacharach numbers, of which I think it's fair to say that 'Pick Up The Pieces' suited him best. Co-written with Bob Hilliard I see also that it was produced by Lieber and Stoller.

God I dunno why but I love this soundtrack so much. Too bad it had to be the end of an iconic duo(and trio for a time) . R.i.p Jack Jones.
