Re: And The People Were With Her

Thank you Martyn and blueonblue, mystery solved!

I was reading "Burt Bacharach - Song by Song" and I couldn't find much info about this suite. They wrote something but not very useful...

And yes, it would have been formidable watching and hearing it on stage.

Take care

Re: site ??????

I have bought from iOffer in the past and most of the sellers are serious in their dealings, but you have to be aware that the video quality varies because they are taken from TV. So ask all the questions before buying anything, but since they are very rare, it might be worth a try.

Re: Bacharach at The Roundhouse

The above track listing was for unabridged version. In Channel 301 the complete version was broadcasted on 23rd October 2008, and here is the track listing: 01 Intro (Paul Gambaccini) 02 What The World Needs Now (excerpt) 03 Intro (Burt Bacharach) 04 Medley I - Don't Make Me Over - Walk On By - This...

Re: Burt Bacharach Show Opus # 3 - 1973

That link from iOffer shows the regular TV broadcast. There are other sellers at iOffer that have the same show, even coupled with other TV Specials, but they offer no hint on "interviews or songs done by any of the performers on this show that didn't make the actual broadcast". Sorry for ...

Re: Plans to release specials on DVD?

Are you sure that is the right address? Maybe is http://www.kinevideo.net/ "net" instead of "com" Anyway, I always check that site and there is only the "On the Flip Side" program that is Bacharach-related. A degraded copy but nice to have it anyway. I haven't seen any ...

Re: Magic!!!!!!!!

I also want to thank you for this great link.

I've been listening it and it is great. I wish I knew how to record it to save it to my disc.

It used to be easier to get the files with NPR but now that they have inserted the link into the Flash animation, is not so.

Re: Always Something There - Ace compilation

Finally got the CD. Great compilation by Ace, as always. The booklet is full of information with covers of the singles. My favorites: Rain from the Skies - Adam Wade, That's not the Answer - Vi Velasco, Send me no Flowers - Doris Day and Dream Sweet Dreamer - Dionne Warwick. I keep listening those t...

Re: italia original Promises Promises cast 1970

Hi Roberto:

Thank you for the link, that is a lovely rendition.

So there was actually an Italian version of the Promises Promises musical?
Was there ever a recording of that?

Do you know if there was a version in other languages? And I mean of the musical, not only or two songs.

That's great. Mine was shipped today too, but it will take at least 2 or 3 weeks since I live overseas.

Let us know your impression when it arrives.
