How do you know so much about Dionne? I am a HUGE Dionne fan and would love to learn about all of this. Since Dionne is so underrated, there really isn't all that much information out there or things like tell all books. I love reading your posts and learning all of this "insider" information.

By the way, do you know where Dionne's primary residence is now? Did she leave California and go back to NJ? Also, I would love to learn more about Dionne's relationship with all her aunts and uncles and other family members. How did they feel and react when she became such a big star in the 60s? What is Dionne's personal relationship with Cissy like?

If anyone has any doubts regarding the deterioration of Ms. Warwick's voice - check out the video clips of her attempt to sing "That's What Friends Are For" at N.Y. Congressman Charlie Rangel's Birthday Celebration at the Plaza Hotel in New York earlier this week!
In terms of the "jaw surgeries" - I suspect that Dionne has put more than one dentist and one oral surgeon's child through college. Occlusion problems, crowns, root canals and possibly dental implants are the most likely reasons for these reports through the years. She still; however, maintains that "million dollar smile"!
While there was likely some occasional sibling rivalry between she and her sister Delia (Dee Dee) - Ms Warwick enjoys very strong family ties which along with her faith has kept her resilient through the loss of so many family members and friends. ...... I respect her long held belief in maintaining a level of privacy regarding her personal life. A book tentatively titled "The Amazing Dionne Warwick Story" was scheduled for release later this year (have not seen anything lately about its release).

I found the Warwick link on You-Tube and was expecting the worst however, this performance is better than many I've heard from the past five years or so. At almost 70, she sounds a bit better here than she did a couple of years ago. She sounds no worse here than Aretha did at her recent performance with Condi Rice.
