Hello friends! Regarding the San Diego concert, there is a interesting new about the Burt performance. Probably he will only play the piano and the band direction will be made by Rob Shrock, his nearest collaborator. This concert will be only an occasion to check the Burt situation on stage. Maybe the concert will be a little short than usual, probably in two acts. Are only technical information but the source is reliable. I wish a good concert to all of you!

My husband and I are flying in from Baltimore to attend the concert with his brother and friend who live in San Diego. I don't know where we are sitting since they bought the tickets, but I think we are in the "Champagne" section too. I will definitely look for you in the front row. I will be wearing a white hat. I'll pick up extra program books for Vincent and his wife and Jeanne and her husband. I'm excited about the trip! I fear this may be the last time we see Burt performing.

I did a brief video review talking about his concert on August 8
and it is now playing in Channel 10 of Torontotv http://torontotv.net/channel10.html
within the Halo Halo Variety Channel which is a shared channel.
It is also on Youtube.com, Video.ca, Vimeo.com and inoutside.biz It is
part of my trip review to California. It's too bad there was no opportunity
to meet Burt Bacharach but I suppose there will be other events...
