The true inspiration for Mike Myers' 'Austin Powers' film trilogy.

Filmed in Paris, the city of love, Peter O'Toole plays a swinging womanizer seeking help for his addiction, so that he can focus on Carol (Romy Schneider), the one woman he really loves. O'Toole makes the mistake of consulting one Dr. Fritz Fassbender (Peter Sellers), a demented psychoanalyst whose sexual addictions are even more complicated. Added to O'Toole’s dilemma are sex kittens Capucine, Paula Prentiss and Ursula Andress who are hot on his trail!

Woody Allen made his movie acting and screenwriting debut here.

Come for the beautiful people, 1960s-style wacky gags, the sleek, sly and sexy Burt Bacharach / Hal David score (with an Oscar-nominated theme sung by Tom Jones along with songs by Dionne Warwick and Manfred Mann), an adventure in nostalgia, and an insanely fun time that is guaranteed for all.

"Brimming with mod chaos, this is the wildest, wackiest film to emerge from the swinging '60s." - Boxoffice Magazine
