I was at a Burt concert in Rome a few days before the last American presidential election. Somewhat by surprise, at the end of the concert Burt came to the front of the stage and voiced his support for Barack Obama, and his agenda for hope.
As the next election looms into view, I wonder how BB feels about BO now?

Re: Burt and politics
I suspect/hope he feels the way most did who, without reading candidate Obama`s speeches, voted for him with such naive enthusiasm.( It was with similar hope that I voted for McGovern in `72 but obviously with different results). In `08 I voted for Ralph Nader and so have been able to watch this sorry spectacle with a clear conscience. Names and faces come and go but the military/intelligence/financial beast is eternal. This is the sad realization awaiting the Occupy movement which has no leverage to effect any change in the face of a global establishment that will not even hear of it.
