If you happen to be in Singapore on New Year's Eve...

Stop by and see Ms. Eliza James playing for Paul Anka.... No; she is not leaving the world's favorite composer: but Mr.Anka offered her the gig.

It's going to be a "Trains and Boats and Planes" year .....

:-)

I saw a video of Paul Anka somewhere and he was furious at the orchestra. It appeared as if they weren't doing something right and he exploded at them. I hope that was just a one-time thing. But I think I heard that Paul Anka can be a not-so-nice guy. Maybe Ms. Eliza James will have something to say about this after her gig. Let us know.

Well she has played with Kanye West, P.Diddy and Candyman... And several members of Limp Bizkit.

Just a postscript on Mr. Paul Anka: rehearsal today, I was told that he was a perfect gentleman, very "old school" and my violinist asked me if he was older than Burt: I replied that Mr. Anka was the "Justin Bieber" of 1956.....

Here's a side of Paul Anka people might not know:

Like I said... not too nice, right? I mean, there's a way to talk to people and a way not to talk to people, no matter how badly the band did the cut-offs, right?

Bonjour 'An Enormous BB Fan';

I a sure Burt Bacharach doesn't treat his band members the way Paul Anka treats his people!!!

Yeah, it's all about me!!! That's the problem with this world!!! I am sure in my judgment, Paul could of handle this better and got his point across!

Take care mon ami.

Well just got off the phone with the hardest working violinist in showbiz: 23 gigs in 21 days... Mr. Paul Anka is a gentleman and plays well with others, so maybe he had a bad day, or something else happened. Looks like working with him is going to be great.

But it's not going to affect next years touring with the Maestro... Can't tell you about it until I get the approval from Ms. Eliza... But it's going to be Wonderful, wonderful. And Jolly Good.
