Jerry Vale passed away in Palm Desert, CA, 83 years old. He recorded many Bacharach-David songs (including "Promises, Promises", "The Look Of Love", "This Guy's In Love With You") and this one, "Make It Easy On Yourself":

Like so many others now forgotten, Jerry was a major presence in mainstream mid- sixties pop.
