No question that they were solid musicians but, as Barry Mann once averred, "no one in the Brill building ever wrote a rock `n` roll song."
Indeed not and this stuff is to rock what pizza is to authentic Italian cuisine (and I`m not e4ven a "foodie").
It`s fun and all but it`s not the real thing.
