Burt Bacharach has teamed with Grammy winner, Rudy Perez, to compose a new song titled, "Live To See Another Day".
The song is inspired by the Parkland School massacre and other shootings. It was recorded live, with Miami Symphony Orchestra,
vocals by two Florida teens, Haven Star and Angie Green.
Proceeds will go to the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation, an anti-gun organization.
Mr. Bacharach is 90 years old.
I believe it's to be released, today, Monday, Sept. 17, 2018.

Re: Live To See Another Day
Thanks grooverider for sharing access to the "Live To See Another Day" video. In our knowledge and experiences of music being the universal language, one can't help but feel the hope and emotion from Burt's melody, Rudy's words, and Haven's and Angeline's delivery. On August 03, 2018, a post by Davide gave us our first exposure to this beautiful song which also featured a different video—this one in black-and-white and has Maestro Eduardo Marturet conducting The Miami Symphony. At 2:20 Haven and Angeline are joined onstage by seven {7} others including tenor Fernando Varela who sings the lyrics "dare amore, dare amore" in his strong, operatic voice at 2:50. He was not credited for this, although Rudy Perez mentioned him in his video clip which he also acknowledges Burt, Eduardo, Haven, and Angeline. This project is so very touching and provocative that I know that the Sandy Hook Project will gain a lot of support from its viewers.
