Manufactured Pro-Bush Support?

Post by rajiv »

It is obvious that the Republican party is now off-shored their online "supporters" to call-centre style pr operations in non-English speaking countries.

Most of these pro-bush messages are either following pre-scripted marketing messages or are laughably incoherent. Kind of like "george Bush, I like you".

I wonder how many of you idiots will respond to one of my misspelled words before you realize it was done intentionally. Instead of coming back with an intellectual response, you will immediately attack the misspelling. You can't come up with an intellectual reply so you strike out instead.

Like I said, this is clear behavior of a bunch of idiots.

How to Reason Like a Partisan Lefty

Post by ProudFlagWaver »

Some rabid left-wing Bush haters have dazzled me with the depth of their political knowledge, by simply incorporating a few tired old left-wing cliches into their brilliant expositions.

If more partisan leftys could learn some of these powerful, magical words, the whole thrust of left-wing arguments could be further marginalized.

So, to those new to the Bush bashing game, join the fun. Here are ten magical words that will make you accomplished Bush basher:

- Halliburton
- weapons-of-mass-destruction
- Tom Delay
- rich-oil-buddies
- Katrina
- Karl Rove
- Iraq-occupation
- museum looting
- racist
- torturer

You can arrange these words in any order that suits your writing style.

Just make sure that you mention that Bush is an idiot, and that Gore invented the Internet! :D

Burt Bacharach's political viess and some of the posts

Back in the 1920's a famous writer had this to say:
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president
represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of
the people. On some great and glorious day the plain
folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at
last and the White House will be adorned by a
downright moron." -H. L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)
I am sure that he isn't happy to have been proven to be correct.

My opinion is that after the terrorists read our constitution they became infuriated with the freedoms it guaranteed. We must fight in Iraq to defend our constitution and freedoms. Yip Yip horay!

The problem with the alternatives we have

Post by Guest »

As I said before today, whatever Burt says is fine with me. I've been even giving Bush a fresh look. I realize better now that I always disliked him.

But the problem is that the alternative to Bush was a vain, bleeding-heart-liberal liar who is against everything that did the US great. Free economies are very rare, and liberals don't particularly care abou that. Even more than Republicans, the Democrats fail to understand that it is economic freedom that brings peace and prosperity. Historically, democracies are no less beligerant than dictatorships. (Look out for Iran, by the way.) Liberals only talk about democracy and positive rights (that impose unjust, uneven costs on citizens and create dependence and victimhood while discouraging real charity). The greatness of America comes from a hitherto limited government that protected negative rights (right not to be killed, robbed, etc.) and thus allowed for economic freedom and encouraged personal responsability.

This perception keeps many from endorsing George 'Big Intrusive Government' Bush while at the same time despising the idea of having a guy to the left of Ted Kennedy as president.
