Fashion scold Mr. Blackwell has issued his annual list of sartorial sinners. The worst-dressed celeb of 2005? Britney Spears, according to Mr. Blackwell, who describes the Spears look as "over-the-hill alk;dlkfd," according to a report on People.com.

Mr. Blackwell piles up the insults like disco frocks and wide ties stuffed into boxes in the attic.

He calls Spears a product of "couture chaos" and sniffs that she has gone "From the `Princess of Pop' to the ultimate `Fashion Flop.'"

Among others feeling the lash of Mr. Blackwell's scorn: Jessica Simpson ("a cut-rate Rapunzel slingin' hash in a Vegas diner"); Eva Longoria ("Gorgeous face, garish taste"); Paris Hilton ("yesterday's cheesecake ... with a side of kitsch"), and Lohan ("looks like she's aged 30 years overnight").

Just so you know that Mr. Blackwell doesn't just see bad things, he also has praised the fashion sense of Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst, Kathy Hilton, Dionne Warwick, Nicole Kidman, Carolina Herrera, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Moss and Natalie Portman.

Mr. Blackwell, 83 (first name: Richard), has been issuing his list of badly dressed Hollywood females since 1960.

With few exceptions - Ms. Warwick has exhibited a classy sense of style and good taste when it comes to clothing, hair and makeup since the beginning of her career.
