Burt/BJ in Houston

I just heard that BJ Thomas will be in Houston at the same time as Burt. Burt is here October 6-8. BJ preforms October 7. Hummm... Maybe Raindrops will be a duet on the stage????

I plan to be there each night too. i'm also considering both nights in Austin as well. 5 shows? I guess I'm catching up on lost time!!! I can't get enough of Burt.

Looks like we are the only ones on this list that will be at the Texas concerts! Austin is very tempting.....I may very well be there too! I saw Burt at BBKings, and doubt that these two venues will be the excitement that was part of the intimacy of those performances.

About a year and a half ago Burt and BJ Thomas were in concert together at the Soaring Eagle Casino in northern Michigan. BJ did the first hour and then Burt came on for his show. During BJ's part of the show people kept yelling sing Raindrops. BJ left the stage after one hour and no Raindrops. Burt finished up his show, and no Raindrops by him either.
Finally at the end of the show Burt called out BJ Thomas and Raindrops was song with Burt. First time they performed together in about 20 years.
Was pretty cool to see the songwriter and singer do their thing together.
