I Love how Burt gives new meaning to his own compositions, by breeding new life into them...such as the elongnated "string" version of "Wives and Lovers" that he does in concert, from it's original conception with Jack Jones.
It gives "full value to what the song is and can be!

So true! This is just another reason why Burt is in a league unto himself. Here's another example: Burt's "Alfie" as done with Dionne, and then the "Alfie" he did on his very first solo A&M album. Burt's a musical genius and that's all there is to it. If I had a bunch of wishes, one of them would be that Burt would wake up tomorrow and be 25 years old and starting his career all over again.
