I'm Looking for the Title to a Song

I occasionally have a tune that goes through my head. I think it's Bacharach, but I'm not sure. On an album around 1970-1971. I think the lyrics mention something about Oz.

Pretty vague, I know, but I figured that here, of all places, someone would know the answer. Does this ring a bell with anybody?

Well, I'd like to help, but I'd need more than "something about Oz." Do you know the singer? The album? Any hints of the melody? Was it a sung piece or just instrumental, apart from the "oz phrase"? Help us out a little.

The only song mentioning "oz" that comes to my head is America's 1974 hit "Tin Man", but it isn't a Bacharach song. Dewey Bunnell, one of America's member wrote it..."but Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn't, didn't already have..."
