But I'm wondering if there is a "Complete Anthology" of Burt's early works
available. If not, I think it would be great for someone to assemble one
with liner notes, commenting on each song, giving backround on it and the accompanying production.(This probably gives Burt nightmares, the thought of this)but that is not my intention....it's just to have a nice
kitschy collection of early Burt stuff. Many tunes were written for movies, that never got into the pictures...the liner notes could talk about that,
etc. We could start with his early cut for NAt King Cole and end where he has his first hit for Dionne Warwick in '63 or whenever Don't Make Me Over was released.
There are a few instances when Burt arranged a complete album or a single for artists he was working with such as JAne Morgan and (purportedly) Bobby Vinton.(still not convinced he arranged that whole album of BLue songs)That could be Vol. 2 -"Songs Burt didn't write, but aded his magic touch, etc.
