35 year old "duet", recently copied on TV

Last season, on "GLEE," they had a night featuring BB music. Two of the characters sang a duet and a, whaddayacallit, when 2 songs are overlapped and combined... anyway, I noticed immediately that they were copying the arrangement Barbra Streisand had song on one of her 70s albums, combining "One Less Bell to Answer" and "A House is Not a Home."
