Well, yeah, but these will only enter the ears of a tiny number of very well-off theater-goers even in the unlikely event that this thing and the previously doomed Some Lovers were to receive full B`way productions.
So my suggestion - since Burt is eschewing further recording - is to simply make these songs available on-line. Burt doesn`t expect or need to profit from these, so why not stream them or make each available for a nominal download fee?
Honestly, why go on composing for a non-existent audience? What ever happened to that alleged second tranche of songs with "Elvis Costello"?
Bottom line for me: Put up or hang it up.
