It's in the news, but still, Burt's arm injury is a major downer for his legion of fans... if he just wasn't so active, he wouldn't get these injuries... if he wasn't so active, we wouldn't have so many chances to see him live. So, prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery and a great autumn and winter schedule...
There is a song, performed by the Carpenters (not written by Burt), which when slightly mis-heard, claims that the best love songs are written with a broken arm.... see this link
