Does anybody know where I can watch the original “Promises, Promises” Broadway show and if so where? I know it’s very old so I have no idea if they even have a full recording of the show, but it would be just amazing if they did. All I can find in relation to the show is the performance of “Turkey Lurkey Time,” and I’m needless to say I’m obsessed.

As far as I'm aware a complete performance of the original Broadway production of Promises, Promises was never filmed. I know in more recent times that some stage productions of musicals have been filmed to be shown on television or for a DVD release, but that sort of thing didn't happen in the late 60s. I've been lucky enough to see three different productions of Promises, Promises, two on the London Fringe and one at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, and what impressed me the most apart from how good the songs sounded when heard within the context of the show was just how funny Neil Simon's book is.
