Costello album featuring Bacharach earns Grammy nomination

Nominees for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced yesterday, and included in that number is Elvis Costello & The Imposters’ album titled Look Now, which was nominated in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category.

The album features three collaborations with Burt Bacharach: “Don’t Look Now,”  “Photographs Can Lie” and “He’s Given Me Things.” In addition, Burt arranges and plays piano on “Don’t Look Now” and “Photographs Can Lie.”

Could this be music’s biggest night yet? The Recording Academy, along with GRAMMYs host Alicia Keys and pop star Bebe Rexha, rose and shone on Wednesday morning to announce nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards. Lizzo is the year’s most nominated artist — with 8 total nominations — followed by Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X, with six nominations a piece.
